Fifteen-time major champion Tiger Woods and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, were seen together supporting their son, Charlie, during his high school golf tournament in South Florida this week.
Charlie, 15, a sophomore, represented The Benjamin School in the Class 1A Region 4 event at Miami Shores Country Club, which his team placed second in ahead of the state championships next week. Nordegren, 44, who was married to Woods from 2004 to 2010, “rode with Tiger in the golf cart part of the way” while attending the tournament, the Palm Beach Post reports.
Woods and Nordegren, who also share a daughter, Sam, 17, were previously seen in public together in March 2024 when Charlie received a ring for his school's 2023 boys golf state championship, which he won last November.
The former couple's relationship is reported to have strengthened since the golf legend's infamous cheating scandal in 2009 that eventually led to their divorce.
“Having the relationship that I have now with her is fantastic. She’s one of my best friends,” Woods said during a 2015 interview with Time. “We’re able to pick up the phone, and we talk to each other all the time. We both know that the most important things in our lives are our kids. I wish I would have known that back then.”
Woods, widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential golfers of all-time ranks second all-time behind only Jack Nicklaus (18) in career majors and has 82 PGA Tour victories, tied with Sam Snead for the most all-time.
